Chef Ryuta Iizuka, who oversees the menu at the teppanyaki restaurant 'Wajou,' owns the Michelin two-star restaurant 'Ryuzu.' We will hold a makers dinner to enjoy the charm of the house champagne 'Billecart-Salmon,' loved at our restaurant. Chef Ryuta Iizuka
Born in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture. After training at renowned French restaurants such as Château Restaurant Taillevent, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, and Troigros in France, he opened 'Ryuzu' in 2011, where he serves as the owner chef. His dishes, which merge the essence of Japanese ingredients with classic French cuisine through a free-thinking approach, have gained high popularity and have received two Michelin stars since 2013. While valuing traditional French cuisine, he offers simple and refined dishes that carefully bring out the flavors of carefully nurtured ingredients.
